District 111 Welcomes Dr. Franzy Fleck as New Superintendent

Dr. Franzy Fleck is currently familiarizing himself with the schools, the staff, and community of District 111. He will officially assume the position of Superintendent on July 1, 2012. Most recently, Dr. Fleck served as Superintendent in East Gibson School Corporation in Oakland City, Indiana. His experience also includes several years as Principal at the elementary and junior high level as well as curriculum coordinator and classroom teacher. Dr. Fleck has a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Indiana State University. In addition, Dr. Fleck provides consulting and presenting services and has authored a book entitled, “What Successful Principals Do!”  

Dr. Franzy Fleck looks forward to working with the board, staff, students, parents, and community members in order to fulfill the mission of Burbank School District 111.
