Burbank School District #111 is pleased to announce our 21^st Century Classroom project. 

In its current form, the 21^st Century Classroom program includes the installation of the following equipment.

• A ceiling-mounted LCD projector that will project images onto the whiteboard

• A document camera that will allow the teacher to project any image onto the whiteboard.  If it fits under the camera, it will project it onto the screen.

• A notebook computer that is highly portable, yet also capable of performing all functions a PC is able.  This will allow the teacher to use the computer wirelessly throughout the classroom, while also allowing them to use it to project lessons and presentations onto the whiteboard via the projector.

• The FrontRow system, which includes a stereo speaker system mounted on the walls of the classroom.  The teacher can use these speakers to connect any audio device, including the tablet computer, an MP3 player, or an iPod.  The teacher can also use the included microphone to project his/ her voice throughout the classroom.
